If you REALLY love Norton you should take a look at Kenny Dreers Vintage
rebuilds website (www.vintagerebuilds.com ) I bought a Norton from him
last year--had to wait six months for it, but it's extremely cool. The
only brit parts are the head, the trans, and a bit of the frame. electric
start, reliable, extremely fast for a commando.

I too love NORTONs.  Very unique engine sound.  Pistons must be as big as 
grapefruit juice cans.  But, I have one of TRIUMPH's last Tiger Cubs as a 
Paddock Bike.  It is currently waiting to go to the hospital.  It needs a 
clutch.
