Hi all!
We are looking forward to CVAR's first event of 2002 next weekend, even
more so since I have completed my novice year and have just received my
VMC license! The ceremonial removal of the X will take place trackside
on Friday morning. We did a few things like replace the fuel cell
pickup (Tristan ran great all last event at Hallett but died at the
trailer ramps as I drove in from the last race to load him up) and he
sounds great!
Larry, we are looking forward to seeing you there and hope you really
enjoy your "new" TR3A! You'll find that everyone is happy to help and
give advice, even if you don't ask for it! And I agree with Bill
completely -- learn how to drive the car until you are not improving
your times at all, then start tweaking the car. You will also find TWS
is a lot different than Hallett -- a lot more open and not so
technical. You will certainly get to use 4th gear there!
