FOTers I learnt on Friday from his daughter Doreen that Wilkie Wilkinson (Ecurie Ecosse & BRM) had passed away at the age of 98. Wilkie, only a few weeks ago, was drinking champagne and having fun at his 98th birthday party on 7th August. With the passing of Ken Tyrrell and Wilkie motor racing has lost two great men but what wonderful memories remain. Paul |
