Well, the Whupass didn't work as well as I had hoped. Wound up tenth.
Lots of really cool cars though, and had a classic four way battle for all
ten laps. It was an absolute blast, and I WON.
In Monterey Historic fashion anyway. They draw a number and award the
winning trophy to that position in all classes. Tenth! Cool.
Had a great time sliding my ass all over the place. Nearly looped it twice
and I went though the corkscrew sideways. Not a recommended method. No
bumps, nothing broken, running strong at the end. Who could ask for more.

Thank you for the response...I understand that Willburn's Margaritas are
some
famous form of a Margarita...with a special name...Green Margaritas? I
knew
what the name & ingredients were , but had one of those Margaritas and
forgot.
OK, I confess, Kurt Oblinger told me.
next year...joe (A)
Too late, I already unpacked the whupass, and I'm not bringing it back
with
me. I'll talk to the Wiburns, though every time I set foot in thier pits
they give me a Margherita and I forget what I'm there for.
You should be here Joe, it's a blast. I'm having a great time even
though
I've missed half the social events fixing the car or just failing to
read
the damned schedule.
Great racing, great cars, great people.
We'll see how that whupass works tomorrow. Goin to the auction tonight.
Leavin the checkbook in the hotel toom.
