Thanks to all who responded about the Redline MTL. I looks like that
is the way to go, and that the only downfall is some minor weeping
from the seals. With all the other weeping, it won't even be
noticable. It will go in the tranny tomorrow.
Speaking of weeping, rear axle lube (redline lightweight gear oil)
started weeping out of the rear axle housing where the axle tubes
enter it, this year. Has any one had this problem? I would not
think that this could be welded since the cast iron housing would not
take to kindly to it, Maybe brazing would work? any suggestions?
