brakes not releasing

I believe that the RPV was not used on all disc brake TR's.  I have driven
3's and 4's that did not an RPV and could not tell they were missing in street
use.   When one failed, the symptom was a slow release after a stop.  The only
time I had to multiple pump was on the old race car after a corner.  I could
tell if I was starting to get with the program by the number of pumps needed
after a corner.
