I have a set of 33 mm chokes in hand and am wondering what effect installing them without making any other changes will have. Most likely your gasoline consumption will go up, the car will be harder to start, it won't idle well, you'll lose power throughout the rev range, unless you happen to get lucky and have the nearly 20 percent increase in choke size actually match the jetting at some useful RPM. mjb. |
