Probably the most progressive Eastern Bloc manuracturer, Skoda,came up with
a number of sports car prototypes. Its first following two or three hand
built/coach built 'one-offfs' in the fifties was an attractive little two
seater with a wrap-round windscreen shown at 1967 Geneva Motor Show. Based
on a 1000MB model floorpan the rear engined configuration was intended for
VW or Corvair power units. The bodyshell, the attractive Devin shape of the
day, was acquired at a time when Devin were displaying their productsat at
a number of European shows
