Speaking of flat tents...
I found out (again) that I can sleep quite comfortably in my TR6 under
those circumstances. My tent didn't collapse (Sprint Vintage Classic, June
2000), but the one next to me did collapse in a very big way. Nobody got
hurt, but it was fairly scary inside my tent when the wind was whipping at
40+. I really thought the tent was going to take off.
Let's see, two camping trips to Mid-Ohio and two times a big line squall
wrecks one night's sleep.
I'll probably camp there again.
