| Someone on the list mentioned that their engine had a meltdown due to the brass crankshaft timing gear shims. Someone else had come up with a replacement (Steel?) for brass. These are the .004 or .006 shims between the front of the crankshaft and the timing gear. Any ideas out there??? Thanks, Brad 62 TR4 |
