I run Bluestreaks which are actually softer (stickier) than the Hoosier's 
I've tested as long as you're talking about Bias ply tires.

BFG and Comp TA's and Yoko 008's are all radials and a different construct 
completely. Hoosier also makes radials of course.

Maybe that's why some have said Bluestreaks are "harder" than the Hoosier, 
BFG etc. They are if you compare them to radials....but softer and with less 
windup tahn the Hoosiers I've tried (both Vintage and SOLO II).

Anybody got a vintage treaded 5.50x15 for less than $125? PLEASE let me know. 
My class cannot run 60 series tires so pickin's are slim.
