I'm now back on line after a major computer failure which wiped all my e-mail
system - so I've had no e-mails, and it's taken the guy nearly two weeks to
fix.
I had a phone call from lister Peter Cahill, who lives in Germany near the
Nurburgring circuit, to ask me if my father's Jabbeke TR2 (MVC 575) had
louvres in the bonnet as there was an enquiry on the FOT list about this. MVC
575 did not have any bonnet louvres, nor did any of Ken's rally or race TR's.
I have seen several sidescreen TR's with bonnet louvres. One of the nicest is
one owned by dear friend Bill Lynn who runs the membership list for the VTR
magazine. However, Bill's car does have something in common with the Jabbeke
car - because it's got rear wheel spats fitted.
