As the soon-to-be-outgoing President of VTR, I agree; it certainly is worth
investigating! As for a previous comment by someone wondering how many VTR
Convention attendees might be interested in at least watching, I suspect the
numbers might be pretty good. After all, for many years now the single most
populated moving event at VTR Nationals has been the autocross. As for a
"touring" event, I seem to recall that a lot of people took advantage of the
opportunity to take a lap or two at Road Atlanta in 1987, and quite a few
folks also took a parade lap or two this past summer at PIR, right?
Depending on where and when such "All-Triumph" or similar races might occur,
I wonder if we could coax a certain white TR-3 and its driver out of
"retirement"? :-)
