Since you have these research records, could you share with us what they
indicate as to axle/rear end modifications that were used on the triumphs.
You could group them like TR2/3/4 , The TR4/6IRS, Spitfires, GT6s, Vits,
TR7/8, etc.
This could help direct us to solutions that not only safe, but
historically appropriate as well.
We may be able to even add to your records. Perhaps within the FOT group
there are FOT drivers who were using modification prior to 1972 that were not
documented, but allowed under the rules.
I think we would all benefit from such an exchange.
