Don, unfortunately, I never ran any of these tracks. I can tell you that
without an overdrive I usually ran a 3.45 at Atlanta. I ran the 3.7 one
time at the Runoffs, and I made it through, but the engine did rev higher
than I would normally want it to. For most of the Midwestern tracks,
except Road America, I used the 3.7 rear end when not using the overdrive.
The 3.7 with the close ration 4-speed was the best setup for IRP,
Mid-Ohio, Gateway, etc. Unless the tracks you mentioned are very short &
twisty, or have an exceptionally long straight (like Road Atlanta), the 3.7
is probably going to be your best bet. With an overdrive, you could move
up to the 4.3 or 4.55.
