Thanks for the information. The expensive rods will not necessarily make you
go faster, but should add some reliability. I feel that my old heap is much
better prepared now than in the early 80's, but I went faster back then;
probably because I was younger.
I put in ARP trying to look up your bolts, and got about 100 hits on my Old
Fart organization. I assume it stands for Automobile Racing Products (after
I added the word bolts), where I will look for your bolts.
Did your machinist recommend any torque's and lubricants to use on the
threads?
