Paul: I just talked to a friend of mine that returned from the UK this week. He said gas prices were high in England. He said he did the conversion on the plane trip on the way home and figured the cost to be about $6 a gallon US. I'm now paying $1.73 a gallon for premium to feed my Audi. He did comment that the cost didn't seem to slow anyone down. He was passed at some pretty good speeds on narrow country lanes. What is your expreience these days? Dave |
