What the hell did I do?

Julia and her sister have just gone out shopping and slammed the door.-

I was eating a crusty roll with pressed tongue and pickle in it (they both
hate pressed tongue) for my lunch when Julia's sister said, 'I don't know
how you can eat that'  whilst grimacing. I thought for a second and said,
'tongue is far more pleasant to the taste than it is on the ear drum' -
wonder if I'll get any dinner tonight - could be 'tongue pie'.??
