I recently ended my quest for a street TR8, however, I did run across John
Roper <vscjohn@huntnet.net> who, in the true sprit of an FOT'er, spent
several hours on the phone with me talking about what to look for in the
TR7/8's.
I am proposing John's nomination based on his experience racing with SCCA on
and off since 1964 in a variety of British and other cars. He has left SCCA
and is now vintage racing instead. He is current campaigning a BN1 Healey,
but he is also working towards fielding a Daimler SP250 and a Morgan +4.
John is active on the TR and wedge lists, knows his TR's well and would make
a good addition to our knowledge pool.
