Further to Andy Mace's request, I do have more news on Sir Jack's progress.

I asked Neville Hay (a very well known racing commentator and motoring
historian over here) at the Manx Classic, as I'd heard no further news on
the grape vine. Nev said that Sir Jack actually broke a couple of ribs and
jarred a couple of vertebrae in the accident, but he got out of hospital
last week and is doing fine.
