I am the new editor of The English Channel which has previously been part of
the quarterly magazine, The Vintage Triumph, the official publication of The
Vintage Triumph Register. It will now be a separate publication coming out
every other month with the first issue arriving in VTR member's mailboxes the
first week of November 1999.
I need some help!
1. RACE RECAPS: I plan on including a racing section in the publication and
am looking for volunteers who are into vintage Triumph racing, who can send
me recaps of races in your region. This would include New England, The
Northeast, The East Coast, The Southeast, The Midwest, The Mountain States,
The Southwest, The Northwest and California (who did I miss?) This is your
chance to see your name in print and to become famous overnight. Let me know
if you can help.
2. CROSSWORD PUZZLE: I have a program that makes custom crossword puzzles
and plan to have one in each edition of The English Channel. I am building a
dictionary of Triumph related words and need some help. If each of you would
send me two or more words for the crossword puzzle dictionary it would
certainly make the puzzle more challenging. An example: word: Mid-Ohio,
clue: An Ohio Racetrack.
