I know several guys who drive Comp TA R-1's to the track (On TR3/4/4A's)and 
then pump up the pressure and race all weekend. If your group does not 
require bias ply these are the cheapest radial with reasonably sticky 
compound around and come in 70 series profiles as well as 60's. If you can 
run Yoko 008's in 60 profile...they are the fastest cheapest ticket. Depends 
on the group's rules.
