We are now gravitating toward a Wine and Cheese party on late Saturday
afternoon. It will be held in one of the garages with one the MG guys
hosting. This seems simpler than another dinner.
We will also likely do some kind of presentation and have engaged a high
caliber Master of Ceremonies from the ranks of the FOT.
This might be a good time to pick up your FOT shirt, if you have not already
A TR quartet performing at this would be great...I'll bet the MG guys dont
have anything going like this.
BTW, our FOT decal and logo has achieved some international status as a
collector item....report came in that one was lifted from a car window in
London....a thank you note was left...quite polite, I'd say. Those Englishman
are quite proper, you know..

If so, have you ever sung in a quartet?
About a year ago we had a brief discussion on the net regarding this --
now the subject has raised its head (or four heads, possibly).
There are two of us who have done a little quartet singing - and between
us we could carry some combination of bass, baritone, or lead to a
simple tune or two. Anybody out there who can sing lead or tenor? It
might be a hoot to add it to the MG / TR festivities...
Since we've all heard howls of derision, shrieks of pain, and shouts of
joy in our hobby -- maybe some of us could try the harmonious stuff!
(Preferrably with Barbershop experience, since practice opportunity will
be limited, just like our race weekends...)
