bit really caught my eye]:

I couldn't agree more, having seen a few of these "tatty" Miatas myself.
But it makes me wonder if maybe there is hope not just for the "dreaded
'M' cars" but for our segment of the hobby in general. If the torch has
passed from England to Japan, so be it. But maybe there will be a Vintage
Miata Register in another 10-15 years, with all sorts of restoration
information, debates bewteen Concours and "driver" types, etc.
That's fine with me. Of course, I'll still be struggling with frame
repairs on all my Heralds and running maybe one autocross every 2-3 years
with the RaceSpit, but....
