Does anyone have any killer ideas for sealing the oil pan after welding in
the extension to make it deeper. I've got a damned good fabricator but he is
getting tired of seeing me after I leaktest and find pinholes weeping at the
seams. I keep dropping it and banging it around between sessions to find any
potential leaks.
Sealing suggestions have been chrome plating and powder coating. How about
brazing or soldering? I thought I'd use Glyptol as on the block. Or will a
couple more go rounds with the MIG and the grinder seal it forever? I know
this is a common issue with racers, hasn't everyone deepened their pans per
Kas's manuals?
