Actually Bob Yarwood is in Creswell, Oregon. He's a friend--I'll ask him
about the wheels next time I see him. He has a lot of nice stuff that
can be used for Triumphs--Aluminum rear brake drums, etc. He owns a US
franchise for Westfield cars. Builds a lot of nice stuff. Very, very
good at rebuilding transmissions so they stick together.

Bob Yarwood, in California, was selling a set of American Mag "TYPE"
wheels. I
suspect that someone purchased undrilled wheeled, drilled them to TR
bolt
circle. He never revealed his source.
The Volkswagen wheels were about $69 per wheel in the Whitney catalog,
but
Yarwood got $500 for a set of four. I have two sets. One is used on
#197. Made
in Taiwan or Korea, I think.
There is also another distributor in Cities of Industries, CA. This
wheel was
even cheaper, I believe. The cross section of material in the spokes was
thinner, but it looked quite good. Made in Mexico, I believe.
