FOT,
The 2001 Triumph Odyssey sounds like a great idea. Please include me in
the planning. If all of you spend money at my shop I may be able to take the
Italia over and even run it a little. :-) It should be nearly street legal
since I'm
going for a true vintage racer - a car driven to the track, raced with little
or no
changes, and driven home with the trophies in the back seat!!
To those of you actually planning this; Bob, Joe, Alexander, if you are
planning any pre-event scouting trips I'd be happy to accompany you and share
some costs. I've been interested in British cars since the early seventies (I
started late) and have always wanted to go to England. My wife and I have been
talking about going there in the summer of 1999, but if the oppurtunity came
for
me to go earlier I, and my wife, would be happy for the chance for me to look
around. Going with someone who is already familiar with the country and can
offer pointers and advice would be a big help before I take my family off into
the
unknown. Heck, they even speak a different language there, don't they? :-) I'm
excited just thinking about it!
