The big bearing engine camshafts were sized to not use camshaft bearings in the block, the early 1300's and 1147's had camshaft bearings in the block and the cams will fit the big bearing blocks if you install cam bearings. The big bearing cams were sized to take up the space the bearings took up. I think you want cam bearings in a competition engine... That's all I know on the subject. Clark |
