Hi,
I'm guessing that it is no secret that the VTRs will be in Portland, ME
and Portland, OR for '99 and '00 [warning - Y2K error detected!]...
Besides, other than Mark B. how many folks would be deterred by the
"choice" of ME and OR?
Of course if a Mainer makes the trip to Oregon - that would pretty much
be longest distance driven... now - will it be in a Triumph??? And heck -
for me it's only 3119 miles each way to Oregon... Hmmmmm. That's only 4
13 hour-of-driving days. Piece O Cake.
I'm working on some of my TR friends to have cars available for the AutoX
at ME. So, if you fly in, we should be able to get you a seat. You _can_
drive a six cylinder Triumph, right? As for the AutoX, it should be a
"learning experience". The question is: will I remember this joke next
year or not???
Hmmmmm.
rml
p.s. BTW, Mark - take care of your back. Back pain is not fun. Ask me
about running a 2 inch rock drill and a 90 pound Jackhammer trying to
move some ledge so that I could build the "Garage of Dreams" sometime.
Even though I got the garage done in time - I was unable to work on my
car for about six months with various back pains... bummer.
