Hi all!
Anyone going to the Indy? Wear your patch -- I'll find you! ;)
My sister and her husband and a group of us will be somewhere in Turn 3,
I believe. This will be my very first major race to attend (I don't
count working the Dallas Gran Prix), and I can't wait! Can you say,
"Tailgate!"
I'll be sure to grab any parts that go flying around for surely if they
aren't fast enough to stay on an Indy car, they will still be an
improvement to what the Spit has... :)
I am REALLY looking forward to this!
Tristan's piston has come in -- any last words on installing just one
new piston with three older ones of the same type? I will certainly
have them balanced together before reinstalling. I found a competent
machine shop who has done good past work on the car, plus the guy's name
is Webber! (Even thought I don't have one on Tristan...)
I am so happy for those of you who attended the Road America event!
I'll do my best to be there next year, with or without Tristan. It
sounds like too much fun!
