There's a company in New Zealand, Conversion Components, that
speializes in dapting Toyota boxes to other engines. I've talked
to him about Corolla/Celica for GT6, he thinks it's easy,
but has not yet done one. He casts bellhousings ... you might
want to send him a fax.
The diff and gearbox are equally fragile, I think, depending
on your driving style. Both are easy to make *more* robust,
but neither is easy to make bulletproof...
Whether or not you can put any five speed in depends on which
class you're going to run, I believe...
