Here's an update to my previous note on brake pedal height. I had
inadvertently omitted significant input from Bill Burroughs, who
reported on four TR's with no problems, using GT6 (not Spitfire) master
cylinders and the residual pressure valves. Further list cleanup now
makes it look like this:
6 with dual Tiltons have no problems
1 with dual Tiltons still have problem
4 GT6 and restrictor valve - no problems
1 Spitfire or GT6 - still has problem
1 TR6 - no problem (fitted to TR4)
1 TR6 - has problem (Jack) (fitted to TR4)
1 stock TR4 and restrictor - has problem
2 say new disc (thicker) helps or eliminates
3 say stiffen front stub axles some way
1 sleeves stub axle to help stiffen
