Hello All
Hope everyone had great weekend. I was not quite ready for the Glen but did
just send in my entry for the Pocono race at the end of the month. I did go
to glen anyway to crew for a friend. The Hinkle Super Seven broke first lap
after having qqualified 2nd in class and 5th overall. The overall pole
sitter, Eric Kruger also broke first lap and went home early. Eric
qualified with a 2:11 on the 3.4 mi. circuit. This is a VERY potent MG.
There was a very good dice for the EP win between three others in the 2:18
range. I very much wanted to be out there with them but hope to fly the TR
flag at Pocono.
All the expected quoted are in for the modified axle sets as we have
discussed. Quite a divergence. The low was $145 at Sway-a-Way to a high of
over $500 at Indiana Tool. Stock Car Products gave a range of around $250
but we have not firmed that up yet.
My inclination is to go with the Sway-a-Way product. At that price I would
order 4 and have two on the shelf as spares if needed. Combined with Jeffs
beautiful hub, I think we will have a vast improvment over the stock 30+
year parts most of us are currently running.
