You might check with Summers Bros in California. I only know about the
Spitfire axles they make
but I had heard at some point in my dark past they also did axles for TR-3s
and 4s.
John Harkness is due here this Sunday and I will take him on a short trip to
show him a TR-4
with some heavy mods that allow for a full floating axle. This is in a
heavily campaigned TR-4
that used to live up in Connecticut. It's quite a trick set-up. The fellow
had broken a few axles over the years
without any adverse effect other than having to pull into the pits on the
next lap around.
I wish I had that option 2 weeks ago.
best regards
Russ
