Got a one wire alt that mounted with NO modifications to the stock late
model mounting. Now getting rid of the regulator and wiring harness. Four
wired from alt to regulators are an east decision to get rid of
But what about the black/white wire? According to the diagram, it runs
back to a 20amp fuse, the ignition switch, and the ballast resistor. Can I
just cut it under the hood and tape it off?
