It was my experience that removal of the steering arm from the steering
box shaft is NOT a pain.
Removal of the retaining nut wasn't a big problem.
Appropriate sized socket and a breaker bar.
I used a pitman arm puller on the steering arm and it virtually fell off.
Reason?
The splined shaft and mating splined hole in the arm are tapered!
Once you get it moving it just drops off.
All comments applicable to my '65 SP310.

Graeme S.
