Steve,
The pads between the frame and body on both my cars were jute. I replaced them
with high-durometer, non-hygroscopic rubber pads. There were no metal plates
on either car -- th epads are held in place by pressure of the body against the
frame.

Subject: [Roadsters] Roadster Dumb Question Dept.
Group,
I purchased and cut to size the rubber pads that go between the body and
frame. I'm now doing inventory on all of the boxed parts that I need to put
together my 2000. I found 8 clips that are 1-1/2" x 2" with a welded nut and
a 1-3/4" square rubber piece attached. Does anyone know what these pieces
are and where they should be installed? It's been 8 years since I took the
car apart so I don't remember where these parts should be installed. Any
help is appreciated.
