Driving back from the Blue Lake 30th Annual All Datsun Meet this AM, I
commented to Nancy, my Datsun Roadster copilot of 42 years, that I'm amazed
the clock in our rarest of all years '70 2000 still keeps perfect time!

Subject: Re: [Roadsters] clock
I bought a crystal clock movement from ebay a while back, small enough to
fit inside the stock clock housing.
Haven't done the conversion yet but I will, I promise:-!
One wrinkle I have noticed already is that the spigots for the hands a too
short so I'll have to extend them somehow with some tiny brass tubing.
Let me know if you want pics of what I got.
Wasn't very expensive from memory.
And yes, I immediately thought it could be replaced with a BOOST gauge,
hehehehehe!

Graeme S.
