RE: [Roadsters] Dash lights </div><div>
</div>Is your temp gauge working correctly? If the dash voltage regulator is
stuck, or connected backwards it can cause both gauges to read really high,
if not pegged. One of the terminals is marked "IGN", which should have
voltage on it when the key is on and the wire is disconnected from the
regulator. Also be sure the regulator is grounded. You can check for voltage
between a good ground and the case of the regulator, it should be zero.
Dash lights: Bulbs burned out? Check for voltage on the rheostat (dimmer),
there should be voltage there, 13V or so on e side and something less on the
other. If you show the same voltage on both sides there is a broken
connection between the rheostat and the dash lights, or the bulbs may all be
bad.
I'm glad to help diagnose this further if needed.
Peace,
Pat
