Ronnie,
It should be 10mm. How hard have you tried to get the 10mm flare nut wrench
on the nut? Sometimes those nuts corrode enough that the wrench won't slip
over them... I'd try filing gently with an ignition-size file as best you
can. It may take some persistence, but you should be able to get enough off
to get the wrench on.
