Hence the KA24 in my roadster. With the high cost of rebuilding a R16 or worse, a U20, engine swaps are fairly common. GM alternator swaps and Volvo or Toyota disc brakes have become fairly common. But over the past 15+ years of owning my roadster, I've seen some very nice restorations back to perfect stock Datsuns.
