That is way too much to offer for a running and driving 67.5 SRL. Why don't
you just go and buy a new one. You should send your $5K to Obama and he will
make you great.
A good Solex setup is worth about $2K. What does "in tack" mean"? Based on
your comments it would require a license trim and a spare new one in the trunk
along with a spare pair of headrests and an extra open Solex air cleaner.
You should realize that everyone on this list is not stupid.

Subject: [Roadsters] Looking for a 1967.5 Roadster
Date: Fri, 28 Dec 2012 10:55:40 -0500 (EST)
I' am on the hunt for a Roadster, what I' am looking for is a 67.5 SRL.
First preference is a two liter solex car that is in tack runs and
drives.not a rust bucket, but some rust is fine. I want a car I can drive for
a
couple of years before, redoing it. I have $5000 for the right car. I
would consider a Non running car as long as it all there and not rusted
out,
and not in boxes. Please respond to my E-mail address only.

Would also consider a 67.5 -1600, in the $3000-$4000 range
