Linda,Like some of the others, I have a late hood on ly early ('66) car. (It was what was available in 1973 when I had an unfortunate close encounter of the worst kind.) The hood prop on my '67-1/2 is on the left, but the I think the late hoods had shorter guides, on the hood rather than on the body, with the pivot on the body. Notice I said "I think". I have not been around any high-windshield cars lately, so I am not sure. In any event, if you use a late hood, I think it is likely you will need to somehow compensate for differences in hood prop configuration -- like with a temporary prop work-around -- if the early hood thing is just temporary. I'm looking for a hood to use while mine gets painted and there is a guy parting a 67.5. Someone I know has a boyfriend who really likes my car and she asked if Iwould sell, so I threw out the highest number I could think of at the moment,15k.LOL Then I'd have to start over! Long weekend coming up, here comes summer Linda ________________________________________ datsun-roadsters@autox.team.net Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forumsUnsubscribe: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/datsun-roadsters/aultgc@att.net ________________________________________ datsun-roadsters@autox.team.net Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forums Unsubscribe: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/datsun-roadsters/mharc@autox.team.net |
