I also used the furthest first rule when prepping the race car each week.
If you don't have a speed bleeder it helps to have five kids, all of whom
knew how to pump and hold the brake pedal by the time they were eight years
old.

I have always heard start with the farthest brake and work inward. this is
how I do it, but I am curious as to why this is.
I will say that speed bleeders make life so much better. and on some cars,
an impact wrench to pull the wheels as well!
