I believe the 68 was listed at $33K but actually hammered down at $38K

Wow. This "meticulously
restored" '68 2000 has a 1600 grille, shaved and
filled DATSUN letters on the
front and sides, and sold for $30K (+10% buyers
premium)? I guess I really
need to get mine finished... I was there at B-J
for the Wednesday auctions
and saw some nice cars sell at good bargain prices.
Interestingly, the 1973
Pontiac Trans Am with matching numbers 455 that was 4
cars before the Datsun
sold for $19K. I guess our little Datsuns are starting
to come into their
own.

Remembered that there was a roadster being
auctioned off at the
Barrett-Jackson.
The prices can get overheated, but was
surprised to see a $33,000 price for
a
'68 roadster.
