"What is one to do? Put new ends on the brake lines, or is there an adapter
that will go from metric to SAE?"
Either one will work. I found adapters at Napa (same problem, different
Datsun). However, that adds an extra connection to leak.

Subject: [Roadsters] brakes
I am sure someone has surmounted this problem. The 1967.5 cars are SAE
threaded. There are no brake master cylinders available. The 240Z's cylinder
will fit the hole, the down side is the 240's threads are metric. What is one
to do? Put new ends on the brake lines, or is there an adapter that will
gofrom metric to SAE? Thanks for you thoughts and answers. g with the fleet
