[Roadsters] 40DCOE webers

Hi all. Quick (stupid?) questions here:

With 40DCOE webers on a 1600 is the original cam shaft going to do these 
carbs justice?

Using an EI dizzy, will the timing need to be adjusted at all, or can I 
leave it where the spces are for an EI dizzy?
