That would be a Chevy II four from the mid sixties. It was 4 cylinders of the
Chevy 6 introduced in 1963, and later became the Pontiac 4 "Iron Duke" used in
IMSA and other road racing and in drag racing. Parts are available to go over
3L. A friend of mine used one to hold the national record in NHRA for many
years with one.
