Hope all you have a Merry Christmas or what ever you believe in.
Here is a short video of my Datsun 510 with Computerized Christmas Lights. I
made a new custom net light with green and amber led lights (Green against
the law now), but only had time to get the amber ones working. Also a new 66
foot LED rope light this year. All the lights now draw less power than the
old incandescent rope lights. Working on a video synced to music. Lights
next year might also be synced to music.
For all you tech dweebs like myself:
Uses National Instruments USB DAQPad 6508 96-port DIO, custom solid state
relay board, and programmed in LabVIEW 7.11 on a Mini-ITX 486 3gig computer
with 10.4" LCD monitor and wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo.
