I had some items powder coated and still attached was the coat hander sized
wire used to suspend the parts during the process.  After bending it back and
forth over and over the stuff did not chip or break at all which surprised
me.  As a matter of fact Mercedes 300SE 6.9's have a reputaion for cracked
front control arms and experts advise against powder coating because you want
to be able to inspect for cracks.  Its pretty tough stuff and I doubt chipping
and the like is any concern; also it is a finer, more precise and consistent
finish than POR15.  At any rate I'm thankful for both as some applications
better suit one than the other.
